Gadir Al-Saadi

Strong believer in the joy, connection and bonds that social dance builds between people. Gadir is still exploring all that dance has to offer and loves to teach and share his insights along the way. He is the creator of the ‘Train Bachata Like a Dancer’ concept. He trains and inspires his students to own all aspects of their dance in order to express and share meaningful moments on the social dance floor. He also found his way to social dance competitions a year ago and has been a medalist in several.

Maja Borkowska - 2nd Place (Follower)

A real volcano of energy! Hardworking, talented and full of passion for dance. She has over 16 years of dance experience. She developed in various dance techniques, i.e. jazz, modern, disco dance, hip hop, ballet and Latin American dances. Currently, she specializes in Caribbean dances (Bachata, Salsa, Merengue). Majka is a dance instructor in dance schools in Warsaw.
Majka can boast of the title of Polish Champion 2024 in the Bachata solo Adults category of the IDO federation. 🏆 She also won 1st edition of Warsaw Bachata Solo Competition. 🥇
In September 2022, she completed a course organized by the Polish Academy of Development and Sport, obtaining a certificate of sports acrobatics instructor.

Piotr Węgrzynek - 2nd Place (Leader) 

Zselyke Varga - 3rd Place (Follower)

Born in Hungary but grew up in Sweden, I started dancing bachata about 3 years ago. What began as a simple interest has quickly become not just a dance, but a deep passion that I love pursuing while traveling the world and connecting with others who share this love for the dance.

Akos Kosa - 3rd Place (Leader)

After 5 years of hip-hop, I was looking for something more sensual. It went so well, that I found the love of my life, with whom we have been raising our 2 sons ever since.

Marta Klimonda - 4th Place (Follower)

Graduated from Academy of Physical Education 🤸‍♂️ and 1st stage of Music School 🎶.

I found the connection between these areas in the dance and around 10 years ago I fell in love with Bachata and Salsa began spending most of my days with them. 💃🏼
I’m currently teaching and running bootcamps, workshops both local and on international festivals. Social dancing and enjoying a good connection with people.
I love creating choreos and working on solo techniques with students and by myself. I see competitions as great motivators to put new goals and achieve them.

Michael Messiha - 4th Place (Leader)

Michael is an active and energetic person. He started doing Karate and martial arts when he was eight years old. He have been also dancing breakdance, and doing parkour in the streets. He likes to inspire others and be inspired. Michael also believes in facing  fears and overcoming challenges, always showing that anything is possible with determination, effort and thinking outside of the box.

Bachatera for over 5 years, but she had danced many different styles before like bellydance, twerk and salsa 💃 She likes to experiment with her dance and is not afraid to mix other styles with bachata - dancing with her is always great fun! 😍

Gabriel Ibrahim

My name is Gabriel and I’m representing Sweden in this competition. I have been dancing Bachata for a few years and my passion has always been to become a better social dancer.

Sarah Grotz-Sonntag

Sarah is an Australian dancer, lawyer and plant mom. After dancing African dance, ballet and jazz as a child and teenager she discovered bachata in Germany in 2019. Since then, she became addicted to the bachata bubble - a world she can no longer imagine life without.

and I love the opportunity of meeting so many great friends. 🤗 First it was just a hobby, then competitions came and since last year we also started teaching regular classes in Hungary and workshops at different festivals abroad. 🥰

If I had to describe myself in three words, it would be: creative ideas, extreme sports and bachata 🙂 I had never danced before social dancing, but I was drawn into this world and now I am an instructor, a show choreographer and simply a multi-dancer. Yes, I’m still based in Ukraine – it's a challenge to get there and back every time, but I love sharing my knowledge and bringing new ones to my favorite students 🥰 The last year has opened up many wonderful events and people for me, and I'm happy to see them during my travels – so see you soon on the dance floor again

Szymon Budyn

I took my first steps on the dance floor in 2017. My dedication to Bachata grew so strong that two years later, I became an instructor at LOFToDANCE school in Cracow. In Bachata, what I love the most are the endless possibilities for growth and the space it provides for expression and creativity. In the daytime, I'm nabbing financial criminals on the stock exchange, but in the evening you'll find me embracing lively and sporty side of life.

Maykel Fidel is a professional dancer from Argentina/Denmark.
Maykel has an impressive track record in Bachata social competitions. He has won 7 medals, including 2 golds and 5 silvers.
Known for his unique, modern fusion dance style, Maykel emphasizes musicality, styling, expression and detailed footwork.
Maykel is part of the dynamic dance duo, Zaka & Maykel.

I've been dancing bachata for over 5 years and I really love this style. It gives me so much freedom in terms of a variety of moves, stylings, and tools for music interpretation. Definitely social dance is my favourite part of it. In my free time I like watching some good movies or series, playing video games, and doing some other sports activities. Hey there, I'm Maria. When I'm not dancing, I work as an analyst at an IT company. My dance journey began when I was 7 years old, attempting to imitate the moves of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira right on the carpet in my living room while watching TV. Only in 2016 I've started exploring bachata, salsa, and kizomba, and my heart was entirely stolen by bachata. I see this dance as an infinite space for personal growth, self-discovery, and new adventures!

Michalina Kuklińska

Dancer, dance school owner and certified dance instructor. Dance has been present in her life from an early age. Before she started dancing bachata, she was a professional ballroom dancer. What she values most about dancing is the ability to express yourself through movement.

On a daily basis, I work in digital marketing. My dancing journey started with ballroom when I was 8 years old. After a long break, in 2019, I discovered social dance. I started with salsa, then fell in love with bachata😍. Now I cannot imagine my life without dancing❤️
